The Differences Between India and China
Inter as a democracy is a big, diverse heterogeneous, unwieldy democracy. To get it to change direction slightly takes years, maybe decades. China got its young population very quickly into manufacturing and exports. That helped give the country the spurted needed to be able to pull millions out of poverty. Now India has to do that, but the infrastructure and the investment is not there.
