Investing in Fine Art Can Survive the Recession
In Mexico or at least in the Yucatan, 28% don't have a washer. In the US, 64% of the population doesn't have that full set of appliances. Private assets like fine art can be especially valuable during market sell-offs. Last year, the average 60-40 portfolio lost around 15%. But by holding a variety of asset types, with different return drivers, we can survive the financial turmoil that comes with a recession.
