The Imago Dei Is Essential
In order to come to the conviction that all men are created equal, you need the revelation that god created mankind in his image. We see this because we know that even the best societies of antiquity, without this revelation, did things that we now consider appalling. The imago dei is essential here. It's not one of the things that you can just toss out as history progresses and still get along just fine with your rights intact,. Still stay to be a nice person. But again, again, let me istress, i want stress this so many times. We have not got ento rights yet, right? We haven't officially underihts.
