The Recycling Process Is a Waste of Energy

Some new cutting edge processes don't produce the same byproduct as desalination. What they produce are salt bricks, bricks of compressed salt that can be used in things like construction. It is possible in the future with green energy and renewable energy to take ocean water and convert it into fresh drinking water without polluting the ocean. And I've always thought that material science and also like related majors, environment related majors should be promoted even more.
