Reading didn't have an actual contract with Phil Walden. Reading was the first black man on Santa Smith's label, Confederate Records. The record is so rare that even rockabilly collectors haven't managed to get ahold of copies. Joe Galkin had proved himself as a promoter by being responsible for the massive amounts of airplay given to Solomon Berg's.
