i thought it might be good to address talk a bit about the origins of that model, and why it's been replaced. elizabeth cubleross was really a pioneer. She was a psychiatrist who was studying terminal illness an the grief that people experience. More recent research by holland and nemir suggests that overtime acceptance tends to increase and yearning tends to decrease but not in linear stages.
