The Langham Hotel - The Longest Running Hotel
Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel is the longest running hotel in Los Angeles. Marilyn Monroe stayed there, as did Clark Gable and Mary Pickford. Shirley Temple supposedly had her first tap dancing lesson at this hotel. Errol Flynn tested out his first batch of bathtub bootleg gin here. The hotel actually hosted the first ever Academy Awards slash Oscar.
