The inner ear is shaped like a snail to help make sounds louder and funnel them into your head. Inside that snail are millions of tiny, little hair-shaped cells which turn sounds into electricity. Next, those electrical impulses travel across neurons in the brain, brain cells. They go all the way down to the bottom of your brain, then to the centre of your brain,. Finally back out to the edges of your brain right next to your ears.
