The Affirmative Action Empire in China
China at first did embrace the Soviet concept of self-determination, solidarity with the proletariat and giving quality and a liberation to all ethnic groups. But then upon coming into power, the CCP changed their mind and look at Chinese history. They removed that self-determination concept, but they still follow the institutional format of titular autonomy.
