Dozens of New Cases Per Hundred Thousand Population
The netherlands is also lifting all their restrictions despite a 71 % increase in cases in the last two weeks. South africa hit their peak average daily cases of nearly 23 thousand 500 on december seventeenth, and has fallen to about only ten % of that peak. It's unclear exactly what is happening in south africa but it appears they may have reached levelling off. In sweden, cases are already declining prior to lifting their restrictions last week, and have decreased 62 % in just the last 14 days.
