Star Trek Movie Review - Calic

I feel like the show does a really good job of completely ridiculing and mocking the type of super fans who like go to a franchise convention. It's like it's lampooning them in the beginning where they're portrayed as losers, but then later it like totally celebrates it again. I think that's why this movie is so dear to Star Trek fans, because it's the first movie that's like, hey, fans, you're just as important as anybody else into the success. But being fans of the show by the end of it works better.
