The Effects of Protein on Insulin Resistance

Some populations that become insulin resistant at much more lean body mass are Asians. People with lipodistrophe who cannot store fat, right? They're just like insulin resistant basically from birth because they don't have adequate fat stores. And you know, we've talked about studies where you can do pretty massive carbohydrate overfeeding in the absence of fat. So those are the things that can sort of manipulate the system and show how important the fat tissue is to whether you are insulin sensitive or not.
