My Exegit, Girlfriend

I like exegesis, but I also find it to be a pretty teenage way sometimes of interacting with literature. Augustine felt free to say absolutely anything he wanted to about the Bible in order to sledgehammer it into conformity with Leidantique Catholicism. In which a woman who is overly fond of Christian exegesis watches the original Star Wars films and interprets everything she sees as Christian in nature. Just, and still hear her.
