The Origins of Conservative Protestantism in America in the Early 20th Century
Moody helped create the backbone of what is, we could call conservative Protestantism in America for the early 20th century. There's the Bible Institute movement, which are these new types of educational institutes that are intended to train missionaries. And then there're the global missions agencies and those become the engine for thousands of Americans to go around the globe and spread the gospel. A lot of that spreading of the gospel was dispensationalist in assumptions.
