And these men were right. The tracks were made by dinosaurs. Though picturing dinosaurs as lumbering lizards, they scoffed at cock's theories about fleet and feathered bipedal birds. They did find fossilized bones, and they studied them in new haven and cambridge and amherst, but never managed to find a full skeleton.
