Sessor was very disillusioned with the state of the sciences at his time and he thought that science is needed to undergo a radical reform. He resisted publishing kind of a recognizable academic treatise himself so I think that he is consumed with this question of, you know, how do we begin philosophy or science. The scholar is a speaking subject as well and so is entangled and immersed in the very notion or object so-called that is to be examined," she says.
