Einstein provided fertile ground for rebuilding and rethinking the old order, which was particularly important in 19 19. The idea that there was an absolute lying behind our merely human measure seemed very important. i think that when that idea broke down with einstein, it it authorized, in some sense, it gave hope and support to people from all these different areas.
