What Happened to the First Day of the Week?

No person in the first century who was a devout follower of god's word ever would have believed that a person could be god. And yet, when thomas encounters jesus, he says, this, my lord and my god. When the disciples see jesus before the great commission, what do they say? It says some worshipped him to worship something. Secondarily, it's a beautiful revelation of what god is like. This is why they believed. So god doesn't show up like a politician at a rally. God don't show up back from the dead to rally the troops, to stir up the base. Unless you've encountered him in he's changed your life.
