The Humanity of the Origins of the Bible
The bible is uniquely god's word in a very special way, but that doesn't make it no longer be human and divine yet. So i was con train to come at the bible as, ok, it's divine. Let me find its divinity. Then when i encountered its humanity, it felt scandalous. And so my point is just to restore the balance, so that through these human words, we can encounter something that's really there. It's not an apologetic that i can prove to some one. But i can say like, these texts speak the word of god.
