The Importance of Sharing State in RSA

There is some shared state that one would assume doesn't exist, but it does. If you initialize one of the Shah modes with some state, then you can switch in the middle to another Shah mode and it will sort of continue the calculation. That's important because people tend to either rely on those behaviors without realizing it or, you know, they're debugging something.
