The Future of Graphics Interfaces

There's one thing that we did on the desktop of the TT and ST that I'm shocked doesn't exist in any current implementation of graphics interface. One of the reasons people will drop down to the command line when they know how to is to get a list of every file in this directory That has these letters and this extension. But you can't do that from the desktop. You could click on the name, text field and a field would pop up. You would type in the wild cards and it would filter. And it's just not available. See if there was only someone from Microsoft who could hear this and possibly implement such a thing.
