The Delegations of the States General of 1789

With just a little bit better leadership, the states general of 17 89 could have been an important point of historical transition for france as it moved towards modernity. But it did not have to spark a full blown revolution. As were about to see, these 12 hundred delegates had widely different expectations about what was going to happen. One common connection they all shared was that they were all mostly from urban areas.
