Freud's Antiquity Object Idea Desire is on display at the Freud Museum until 16th July. This week Tom DeRoz and Jamie Ruhrs discuss constructions in analysis, a late paper by Freud. It was one of his final works published in December 1937 - just over a year before Moses and monotheism. Also important because it's the last time that he uses this famous archaeological metaphor: civilization and its discontent.
