The Impact of the Illinois Biometric Protection Act on the Body

Illinois was the first state to enact what's called BIPA, it's the Biometric Information Privacy Act. Most of the litigation that we've seen so far comes out of Illinois as a result. The protection in many ways is, if you're looking at it from a consumer's perspective, the protection is thin. Others mention biometric information, but they don't go so far.
