The Effect of Racial Ressentment on College Admissions
The racial resentment scale can predict a bunch of things. But the thing that's driving it is not people who have high racial resentment, i.e. racist saying, I'm going to treat minority candidates worse. A lot of it is actually people who have a very low end racial resentment and favor certain policies because they're framed in a certain way. The index was developed 40 years ago but has been used more recently by political scientists as part of their research.
