The Chance to Pawn a Portion of the Field

Ruth says to Naomi, this is probably March or April. She's going to go out and she's going to glean among the ears of grain. It was part of Israelite law that the corners of the field were not supposed to be reaped. In Hebrew it is that her chance, chance to pawn that portion of the field.
