Fargo Is a Great Movie, but People Don't.
"Fargo is a great movie. But it has a very flat quality that matches the milieu of the northern Midwest," he says. "It's like blood in the snow, you can almost imagine spreading out on the screen at 90 degrees from the ground" The style of the cinematography and the feel of the film fits the story, Spielberg adds.
