What Are the Watershed Moments?
A lot of the ideas aren't new, and that's why kindly inquisitors found its audience after 25 years. But yeah, there were some moments when we should have, we did not at the time, but we should have recognized who were turning points. One is gamergate and anti-vaxxers, which began really exploring how to do disinformation and conspiracies online. The biggest moment for me is the 2016 presidential campaign where you see a candidate who lies 7-0.
