The Ice Score Is a Great Tool for Prioritizing Work
The ice score is a military strategy developed to help people on the field of combat quickly mental check what they should be doing. What I like to do in a meeting is say, okay, here's the problem. This is our North Star metric or our measurement. And then everybody just make a list of as many crazy ideas as we can to solve that problem. These are the strategies and it can be crazy. We've done this on our product teams. But there's sometimes there's a kernel of something in there that you can actually like expand on. Letting these into a quarterly plan allows you to achieve an outcome that doesn't get talked about too often.
