How to Retain Profit and Increase It Over Time
Companies should try to compensate for this, and that's becoming more profitable. There are at least three reasons for companies to not just retain, but increase their profit. The higher our costs, the lower the profit will be. So as a shareholder, which makes you part owner of the company, you want to see profit go up so that your shares will rise in value.
