The Role of Comprador Elites Within the Palestinian Population
CNN's John Defterios spoke to the author of a new book about her experience in Palestinian refugee camp. He says she was involved only at the initial stages, and wasn't able to go through with focus groups or whatever would have happened withinPalestinian refugee camp. It shows the kind of role as of, as you say, compradors, local comprador elites, within the Palestinian within within Palestine. But there's a sense in which this is a sort of more modern form of weaponized identity politics, he said.
