Alzheimer's - Memantine

Memantine has a different mechanism of action from the colonnourist race inhibitors. It doesn't have those cardiac risks that I was talking about in terms of slowing down the heart rate nor does it have the same GI side effects that kind of bedevils some people with the colonnastarization inhibitors. And there's also NAMS-eric which combines tenepazil, the colonnstarization inhibitor and Memantine. The quality of evidence again is not in my mind super strong that like these again this is not a wonder drug but this is kind of a go-to medication in the management of this disease.
