Algeria: The Crown Jewel of Franca Freak?
A lot of the countries they operate in have had some real problems attracting more investors. Algeria is a very good example of that, why they rewrote their oil law. There may be a mentality there that if you're more willing to invest in some of these higher risk areas then you can squeeze better terms from host governments. They certainly are pretty adept at maintaining a lot of these relationships with different parties around the world.
