The recent attack on YouTube is where an attacker is sending out these emails. In actuality, these spoofed emails are not coming from YouTube.com. So one thing that we have recommended as security experts over the past decade is checking the email,. check where the email comes from and if you just look at the header where it says the from line is no name at YouTube.com, then you might fall for it.
