Dubois and the Lost Link

Ujendobois returned to Europe in 1895 as the man who had solved the riddle. The reaction he received from the scientific world upon his return was not quite as expected though. Some scientists thought that the fossil was too much like an ape to be the missing link. Others thought that it was too muchlike a human to be themissing link.
