The Debate Between Gerald Ford and Jimmy Carter
People were complaining at the end of those debates that the serious candidates didn't get enough airtime. We would probably all be better off if they were allowed to fully flesh out their perspectives in a public forum, he says. Of course, that's not what the debates are anymore.
