An eight sided star represents the eight deities for male and female God gods they were known as the Agdo ad. If you know anything about eight, it ties into the loop, which could be infinity if you turn it on inside. So a lot of that it plays into this ascension model of reoccurring history how things kind of repeat itself. In these occult circles, it's always about the microcosm and the macrocosm so they believe that at the north right the north was where the soul would go to travel by emulating that within yourself.
