In that sense in that sort of perhaps not cyclic but it seems that there might be a possibility there of both a teleology and a selection like an evolution. You mentioned scale do you think there's a notion of it going upwards or you know quote-unquote higher or you know selecting certain properties? Do you think that it's maybe more sporadic than that? No, well he was well aware of the danger of a linear development or evolution that that's something he criticized several times. I think the idea of the circle breaks it up but there is more irony like in a universe of technical images it's a countdown you know it goes from four to three to two to one to zero
