Donald Trump's Lawyers Are Asking for a Delay in the Trial Date
Trump's lawyers are asking for essentially a delay in the trial date, which was potentially going to be in December. They note just in the first tranche of discovery more than 800,000 pages of documents. But they go on to suggest that it might not even be feasible to have the trial before the 2024 presidential election because Donald Trump has to spend time running for president.
