The book is structured so that there's like an the wachowskys made it into a movie. It kind of becomes harder to invest in these beginnings as the book goes on, because you understand what the book is doing. That was what was getting me through the back half of the book. I've got big matriks brain right now, but i must waitin on that.

Sometimes a book is so meta it sort of breaks your brain! How to talk about a book that is all beginnings and no ends? How to discuss a book that enlists You, the Reader, in its chicanery? We try to get on the wavelength with Calvino's text. You be the judge of if we get there.
