The Serious Nature of Covenants

Jeremiah 36 presents this an interesting view into the production of scripture, the writing of scripture. It's probably also a repeat of Jeremiah chapter 7 in which there's a sermon at the temple. And then one of the scribes takes the scroll and starts to read it to the king, Jehoi King Kimi. The response is not what the Lord wanted from the people or even from the king himself.
