COVID-19 Death Rate in the US
If we eradicated the three leading causes of death in 2021, heart disease, cancer and COVID, we would gain about seven years in life expectancy. We have 1.1 million deaths attributed to COVID since the pandemic began. That's the longest, that's the highest number of deaths. If we divide the number of deaths by the population and get rates, we're somewhere in the top 10 nations.
