You Need Advanced Social Skills

If you're always trying to do everything alone, you're super limited in life. If you want to go higher, if you want to have more influence, make a bigger contribution, you need those advanced social skills. This is vital. I get so frustrated with parents. They focus so much on the stupid school stuff, grades and tests. And they don't realize that it's not that stuff that is most important. It's the social skills. You should reverse it. In fact, not only are they ignored by schools, they are made weaker by schools. Of course, reading is important - but the social skills are more important and need to come first."
