The Vibes and the Machine in Tech

In tech, the vibe is completely shifted. And it's open season on any bad idea from these sort of like more authoritarian left. You can criticize anything. I went after gender quotas the other day. The idea that it's okay to hire based on sex and I didn't say race, but I believe that is why I think it's wrong to have quotas for this or to have hiring committees being like, how do we find more black people? That style of thinking is not really permitted anymore. It just took us a minute to kind of look around and be like, oh wow, I've been able to say stuff for a while now.
