How Do You Develop Mental Skills Through Training?

The first element for me is, and I think about sports ecologies, really having four core elements that are both influencers of, but also trainable mechanisms. So one of those first core skills is awareness. When you're out there, what happens in your mind? When it's easy, when you're doing like an aerobic day, where does your mind go? How does your narrative shape your thoughts? All of that is influenced and a byproduct of all of our life experiences. And that is a fundamental place that we can all start.
