The Importance of Dinner on First Dates

I haven't really gone on first dates in the bay. I feel like that's kind of the default though because it's like, oh, someone is probably driving quite a bit. So we might as well just like, you know, full commit to something that makes it worth someone's time. When you're at a bar and there's like a drink in your hand, you have like something to hold and you can like take sips. But when you're eating, you're either not eating at all, or there's like hella noodles in your mouth or something. It feels like a little awkward to me. You feel like you see too much of them.
