EA's EA on Criminal Justice

EA lost an evaluation of the Open Society Foundation this criminal justice work criminal justice reform work which would have reached the inclusion that A it was probably did not meet impact standard. It sort of seems to me like an example of EA sort of veering into some hot button issues not succeeding at its own professed goals so why should I be concerned with those biases determining EA commitments in other areas? "When something is a hot button issue it's really hard to bring to it the clarity and rigor"
