There's a couple of reasons as we took a whole in black filmmaking, we took a 10 year Tyler Perry detour, and that's not a diss, it's just a fucking fact. And now we need to kind of understand that we have as many talent performers out there, but we need to give them substance and subject material so they can go out there and show that. But do you also think that there's some way that the Academy isn't recognizing these performances when they are in movies like this?
