The End of the World in the Revelation
When God confronts evil, ultimately, He will do it. It will be the fulfillment of what He's been up to for thousands of years now. So thus the end of the world in the Revelation is described as the fall of Babylon and why the prophets often use language of the ten plagues of Exodus. That becomes a way to describe how God's going to rescue all people who are oppressed. And that's the day of the Lord.
