Women are receiving less evidence base treatment when they come in for hard attack than men. More women may have a non obstructive coronary artery disease, meaning that there's something going on with the heart muscle but they don't have blockage of a coronary vessel. Even though some of the differences might be that women are more likely than men to present without a total blockage, they would still benefit from these evidence-based treatments.
